I really hope you like it, I'm quite worried that you might not, because i did make her look a little feminine, and I know she is supposed to be a tomboy sort of character. :\ Trouble is, I struggle with these sorts of characters, and I was really in the mood to draw a female figure. I tried to made her clothing kind of... hrm, unisex, I hope, but because there is some bare skin (well.... bare fur XD) showing, I'm not sure. Since you did say that mature art is okay, I figured that it would not be a problem (even though this pic is not mature) but I am only just now beginning to wonder if I made the right choices. :\

If you think she looks too girly, then maybe, I don't know, I can try and add more clothes or something. Oh, and if you DO like the picture, I did another version where the coat was a red santa coat, (basically i just changed the colour of the coat, its no major change but I think it looks cool) but I wasn't sure if this would be acceptable as a christmas themed picture for you, as some people don't go in for that sort of thing. But if you want me to post the santa version, let me know, and I will. :)

I am going to make a new rule where if it takes more than 2 months for someone to do the adoption piece they promised, then I'll assume you forgot/were busy/had scanner/tablet/RL problems etc, and couldn't do it, and the person who missed out will be automatically resubmitted for adoption. You won't be blacklisted or anything if you don't do an adoption piece, but it's not fair to the people to be kept waiting for months on end. By the same token, if you have been kept waiting for more than 2 months then you should let us know.

As we are getting close to the end of the year, I was thinking we could have some feedback. Has everybody been enjoying ArtXchange? Is there anything about it that you think could be improved? Or any issues that you would like to bring to our attention? Don't be shy - speak up, comment here and let us know what you like, or dislike, about the community, and we'll see what we can do about it. :) You don't have to be a regular participant to comment - whether you are an artist who joins in every week, or someone who just watches the community and has never taken part yet, you are welcome to share your views. All I ask is that you don't mention names in public, if someone has annoyed you (you can email me privately about it if this is the case).

the next round will run from mid-november to the end of december, with a christmas/holiday/New Years theme. I wanted to give everyone a little more time to work on their piece since i know most of us are busy around december! Emails will be sent out around 4-6 days from now.

Hi guys, I'm sorry for the inactivity here lately. Both me and darkwingpsycho are quite busy at the moment, and I will soon be losing my internet connection as well. We are unable to do ordinary rounds at the moment, so we have devised a plan...
We thought it would be nice if everyone can post their character info here. Then, if you want to practice, keep your creative juices flowing, or just draw a nice gift picture for someone, you can scroll down the comments, see if there is any character you like, and draw them. Its completely up to you who you draw, or even if you want to draw or not. No emails, no deadline, no obligations - this is just a bit of fun. Post as many characters as you like, and if you draw something then post it to the community when you're done so we can all see. :)
All I ask is that when you choose a character, you keep it a secret until you post it to the community. Then, the owner of that character will have a nice surprise. (But feel free to reveal yourself if you do need to ask for more info or anything.. its your choice)
